Some members of the W&L community have received the following fraudulent e-mail. Please be cautious about clicking links in e-mail, or providing confidential information in response to such e-mails. Blackberry data problems

Blackberry owners may be experiencing disruptions with e-mail and other data services. The problem is related to network infrastructure problems at RIM, the company that manufactures the Blackberry and operates data services for the device. The company is posting updates here:

Problems with IE 9 and The Stable

Some people using the newest version of Internet Explorer (version 9) have reporting difficulties in accessing The Stable. Information Technology Services is investigating the problem. In the meantime, you  may wish to use an alternative Web browser, such as Firefox or Chrome.

Wireless outage Saturday morning

Washington and Lee’s wireless network will be unavailable from 6-8 a.m. on Saturday Oct. 8, while a network upgrade is implemented. Please plan accordingly.
