Microsoft has addressed the problem of messages sent from Sakai and JobLink being wrongly classified as “junk” in students’ Outlook Live accounts. Sakai is W&L’s course management system and JobLink is used by Career Services to send job-related e-mail to students.
Although we believe the problem has been addressed, students are encouraged to check their “junk” folder in Outlook Live on a daily basis for legitimate messages. Students can train Outlook Live to correct identify legitimate messages by choosing the “Add Sender to Safe Senders List” when those messages end up in the junk folder.
If you have questions, please contact the Information Desk (x4357 or help@wlu.edu). Check on the announcements section of the ITS homepage at http://its.wlu.edu for further updates on Outlook Live.
