As a result of budget constraints, ITS will not follow its recently established schedule for printer and computer replacement for the 2009-2010 year. ITS will fund computers for all new faculty and staff positions, and will replace computers in 2009-2010 based on the following criteria:
- Current equipment that doesn’t meet demonstrated needs
- New equipment is required for a specific, new purpose not met by the current hardware.
- A current computer is broken and cannot be feasibly repaired.
- A new job description or responsibility requires additional or different computing capability.
